The cobble-stone square, its fountain, the church and rectory, the mayor’s office, the barber shop, and the one-room school house stand out at the Pueblito Paisa, a composite replica of typical Antioquia towns. The structures, an icon of Medellín since they were erected, are the focal point of the array of special attractions perched atop Nutibara Hill. The restaurants, for one, with their typical fare of Antioquia foods, afford a magnificent view of the city any time day or night. And for another, the arts and crafts stores complement the host of amenities found at this tradition-filled space. The Pueblito Paisa can be easily accessed by a fully paved road that has been specially suited to hikers and athletes or through nature trails amid the tropical forest.
Hours: Open daily, 5:00 AM to midnight; businesses from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
